General information

ZyCoV-D is a vaccine developed by Zydus Cadila. It is based on DNA plasmid platform. Currently, this COVID-19 vaccine is in a Phase I/II clinical trials.

On August 20th, 2021, it has been approved in India for the emergency use in adults and children from the age of 12.
