General information

VHH-72-VHH-72 is a bivalent nanobody with a (GGGGS)3 linker joining two VHH-72 monomers. The monomeric form was found to recognize SARS-CoV Spike protein. It was isolated using phage display technique and originated in a SARS-CoV-immunized llama. The bivalent nanobody also recognizes SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein and neutralizes the corresponding pseudovirus in vitro (Wrapp et al., 2020).
