Thioridazine
A phenothiazine antipsychotic.
General information
Thioridazine is a phenothiazine derivative that is used as an antipsychotic agent. It acts e. g. as a serotonergic antagonist, a H1-receptor antagonist, or an alpha-adrenergic antagonist (ChEBI). It has been withdrawn from most markets due to cardiac side effects (DrugBank).
