F12
An anti-SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibody.
General information
F12 is a monoclonal antibody that neutralizes the SARS-CoV-2 virus in vitro. It is a human IgG4 antibody targeting the RBD spike protein on the surface of the virus. This may prevent the spike protein from interacting with the ACE2 receptor on human cells, thereby blocking the virus from infecting the cells (Passariello et al., 2021).
