Vero cells; Vero E6 cells; Caco-2 cells; SARS-CoV-2 strain SARS-CoV-2/human/Czech Republic/951/2020 4.15

Reduced SARS-CoV-2 plaque counts in Vero cells with an EC50 of ca. 1.92 μM and an SI of >52.08. In Caco-2 cells the compound’s cytotoxicity was higher and it moderately reduced SARS-CoV-2 multiplication at 1.5 μM (1 order of magnitude) and 3 μM (2 orders of magnitude) concentrations. The compound's solubility in water is low, however.
