CTC-445.2
A SARS-CoV-2 spike protein RBD binder.
General information
CTC-445.2 is a monomeric polypeptide, derived from modified human ACE2 receptor, with higher affinity for the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein RBD, intended to be used as a decoy for the virus. The decoy was designed to be inert to the host, selected using yeast display technique for its affinity to RBD and selected to be more stable using directed evolution (Linsky et al., 2020).

The decoy is resilient to RBD mutational escape. |
