Vesicles carrying host ACE2 as a decoy for SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein.
General information
ACE2âEVs are lipid bilayer-engulfed particles derived from human cells expressing ACE2 on their surface. They are isolated using size-exlusion chromatography. ACE2-EVs can serve as a SARS-CoV-2 decoy (Cocozza et al., 2020).
